A good walk after eating is an excellent idea. The activity can assist digestion. In addition, it can raise your resting metabolic rate. As a result, you burn far more or the excess calories compared to just sitting around, or, worse yet, taking a nap. Walking can also relieve that after-meal bloated feeling.

Proper digestion, assimilation and elimination requires good circulation and oxygenation. Exercise ensures good circulation and oxygenation. For the nutrients you are digesting to get to the right place, they have to travel literally miles of veins. If you are sedentary after a meal, they tend to stay close to the liver and give you a paunch. And the elimination process is compromised too, which means toxins stay in your body longer than they should.

If you want to loose calorie you need brisk walk and that can not be done after meal. On the other hand medium pace walk after meal ensures good digestion. After dinner walk brings sound sleep. So you choose what is better for you. Now for a better health if you skip the meal altogether skip this question too :)

I have read its better to walk BEFORE a meal as your body continues to burn calories during a meal and even for a few hours after a meal. Walk off the rest of those calories tomorrow after your body has rested from the digesting process.

I always read that it's better to walk before a meal, like as soon as you get up in the morning, and then go eat.

For the ones who say after, I'd like to say that's a good way to vomit what you just ate, no matter how small the amount. If you do it after, wait at least an hour or you might get sick.

Both are the best. Each of them has its own benefits: before meal will increase your metabolism to burn calories after that and make you feel hungry and eat more. After meal is just for your digestion.
According to me, Before is better than after

Better to walk after your meal

I think it should be after.

IF you walk before you are more likely to gain more of an appetite and then gorge your food.

IF you walk after you are actually helping the food digest by moving around and keeping your body upright. I would not suggest walking faster than a regular pace.

If you do walk after a meal, it shouldn't be fast or a race. Your body is already trying to digest food.
