the social status for the child in India except the poor are good. The law protects a child"s right, But the follow up actions are not in practice. In many houses and shops we can still see children work. In streets many children are still begging ,The Government should take strict actions,

child status depends on to which class the child belongs, you can not generalise such questions in a big society. The child status differes from pampering to make them work and beg, from worshipping to sex abuse, from over feeding to starving.
