Well you barely got a decent answer, but I will say that while yes there are rules to follow and yessss, there is a historical account of scammy Nigerians... im not sure they take pleasure in denying the visa. BUT I do beleive you have your fair share of bigots that secretly take pleasure in the power of rejecting someone...for ANYTHING. Best of luck and I hope you get the VISA you want.

the us and british embassy take plesure in refusing Nigerians visas because vatually all Nigeria want to live in US and britain so if they are given visa they go there and hide somewere not wanting to come back to nigeria again there by increasing the porpulation of people in US and britainas well as porpulation of nigerians

Perhaps because the applicants do not meet all the requirements for obtaining a visa. I am sure there is no pleasure involved. Embassies have rules to be followed and there can be no deviation from them, especially in the light of the current world problems!

I expect that it may be a matter of not meeting the high immigration standards enforced by our current government, set in place and standardised to control population growth, unemployment and our wonderful NHS service. Rule Brittania! However, for about £500.00 you could marry one of our wonderful English Roses and gain backdoor entry.... Wait a year and invite your whole family over - Great! Or just say that you are an asylum seeker and you will get a free house into the bargain! Fab.

I am not sure I know the answer to this question. Probably because of the same ignorance and hatred that is so prevalent particularly in the morons answering this question. If you don't have anything intelligent to say don't say anything at all. "Why do so many Germans and Irish live here? Why are all white people Why do most caucasions commit mass murder? Why are most Europeans ignorant?" Yeah those questions are as dumb as and stereotypical as the ones I have seen here.

every country has their own rules regarding visa. If anyone does not meet those rules than they are not allowed to enter the country.

Maybe its all the moneyorder scams that come out of there. Honestly, I got a $150,000 check from there just last week...a scam, it was counterfiet. & that was a slow week. I just turn them all in, but getting tired of even wasting my time with it...
But how many are they actually getting cashed in the US everyday, I'm just one guy?
