I like my best friend(guy) too and I have liked him since thee sixth grade(I am in 9th grade) and turns out he liked me too and if I would have told him that I liked him we probable would have gone out but I never got over him and everyone of my other friends think I should tell him and I think they are right. I think you should tell her because if you don't then you will end up like me and you don't want to end up like me because if you like her and you don't tell her then you will never know if she liked you back but I was just lucky that he eventually told me.
