If you don't have a converter (and the others are right when they suggest you might) this is a free one that makes a printer that you print to and it creates a pdf from any document. - http://www.primopdf.com/

If you have the full version of Adobe, hit Ctrl P in Word, with Adobe running. One of your choices should be "acrobat distiller". Choose that. It will convert your document to a PDF file.

In even though application you're in, once you're arranged to deliver the record (undertaking, checklist, etc.) in simple terms bypass to the print determination and choose "Adobe PDF" because of the fact the printer. After doing that it could take some seconds (10 or so) yet a "save As" window will pop up, save the record as and the place you have chose and then Adobe will open and show the record (as your new pdf record). good success!

I find using Fine Print pdf Factory works the best. This installs a program as a printer driver, then when you want to create a file which will open in Adobe, click print and select pdf factory as your printer.

If you're using a Mac, then .pdf document is an option when you print. On Windows, you have to buy Adobe writer, or use a third-party program which can do the conversion.

the easiest way I use to create a pdf file from word is by using corel draw. this is the way I do mine:
1. open a new coreldraw graphics
2. press these keys together (Ctrl and I) or click on File and select Import
3.select the original ms word file in the box that appears
4. click inside the coreldraw page to paste the imported word document. select maintain fonts and formatting when asked by coreldraw and continue
5. insert a new page in the corel draw file and repeat the same procedure if you have multiple pages in the ms word file
6. SAVE your file
7. finally, click on File and select PUBLISH TO PDF that's all! very sweet! I enjoy doing it all the time. you can do the thing to photos.

You can buy the Adobe program, which is really really expensive. Or, there are several companies that have programs to create PDFs for free. One I use is PDF995. It's free, and easy to use. Just create your document, print it, and instead of selecting your actual printer you select the PDF995 program from the list of printers and it saves it as a PDF document.
Simple.
