Separate your day clearly into work time and not work time, and for the work time, plan your days around 4 concepts : Important, unimportant, Urgent and Nor urgent.

To see if something is Important, ask yourself the question What am I here for? Your Projects is the answer, so if you need to do a particular thing for a Project, its important. Discussing what you are going to do at the weekend is not important nor is tinkering with something work related that interests you.

Second, is it urgent? Do you have to do it now? Many things can be put off. If you need some materials to continue, do you go and buy them now, or is there another project you can work on in the meantime and go for materials for various things at the same time?

You do first what is important and urgent, and if there is time, make a start on what is important but not urgent. You should never even consider doing something that is unimportant in work time.

When your tasks are classified, make a schedule, you know that should take me x hours or days, try to be realistic and then try to stick to it. Check every so often that something your classified as not urgent hasn't become so with the passing of time. With your schedule, you should be able to predict more or less when that will happen.

Never forget that time spent making a plan is always time well spent.

Good luck, this is not as easy as it looks. Most people waste most of their time : an expression I heard and liked was "busy fools". You will be amazed who much more you get done once you have organised yourself.

when in toilet everymorning plan your day
write first page with all that you have to do
re write on another in order of priority
when you do one thing, no need to wait till it is finished, while at some process where you have wating time you can work on the next important project to gain time.

Take small breaks between big jobs - it will keep you focused for longer periods of time - up to 18 hours a day !

make a list of all your projects on one page
then look all of them over and decide which one is the very most important .. put it one another page on top of the list
do the same for all the other projects until list is all crossed out,
now you stick to your list and start and finish each one at a time

Leave it all to the last minute, then stay up all night and do it all badly.

Maybe you shouldn't follow my advice after all...
