Of course, but they have been promoted. Our great government rewards incompetence.

For the most part, yes, the same people who worked for the FBI and the CIA still work there today. There were not any wholesale firings or layoffs following 9-11. A significant number of employees have retired, or passed away for various reasons while in the government's employ. In addition there have been a number of reassignments and realignments as a result of mergers under the Department of Homeland Security. In total, the number of total persons in this type of government employ has risen, not declined, since 9-11. Most significant has been the increase in numbers of people with multi-lingual capabilities.

You did not ask about the employment situation in the NSA before and after 9-11. Why was that? I was also curious why you failed to inquire if the number of employment positions in the Pentagon decreased or increased as a result of 9-11.

What a very interesting gif you have there, a peace sign over the US flag... lol

Don't you know that the US is BY FAR the most militaristic nation in the world? The US has been involved in more wars than any other nation in history, bar none! not even the Roman Empire or Nazi Germany.

Too funny.
