depends on your university and your degree. Some Aust universities are not recognised worldwide. State universities are. (e.g. UNSW, ANU, UQ)

if it's in health science field (nursing, medicine, bio tech), some countries want you to take a conversion test/ very short course.

I know that here in the UK we are really picky with our qualifications, even some people who take exams in this country have to be sure the awards comply with certain universities etc. If you're medical then we really need you btw!!

Mostly it would be valid worldwide. Some specialties like law and/or medicine may require further schooling in other countries.
