I'm thinking of doing it are you? Why answer a one sided question when you know you won't get choosen because of your opposing opinions. You also know that no matter how you answer, you can't change their minds or get a point across.

I'm going through phases. In the beginning I answered everything. Later I found myself fighting and sarcastic. Now I find most of the questions like who hates bush? and why are liberals so stupid? Are just not worth the time to answer. I imagine everyone gets sick of it sooner or later.

I answer questions because I have an opinion regarding the content. I do not expect that I will change the minds of people who have the opposite opinion, or who are so obviously partisan that they cannot even validate my opinion, much less agree with it. The reason I answer these questions is more in the name of giving equal time to both sides of the issue. I try not to engage in personal attacks, and stick to the issues and facts as I interpret them whenever possible. I will however challenge false or misleading information. You see the people I am interested in reaching are the moderates. Those people who are not locked into the party line, but are instead searching for the truth. If I reach just one person like that in a day, and provide them with the impetus to search out the facts for them-self, then the effort was more than worth it.

I agree... Take a look at my latest "crime." When I did as this guy asked and answered his so called "Question." He proceeded to follow me into one of my questions to badger me for it and then when I commented on his intrusion, He deleted it.
I think idiots know when they are being idiots and just use words and phrases to manipulate their way around the rules. I can't believe the moderators don't do anything about it.
Dont put a rant into the form of a question only to badger people for doing exactly what you asked them to do. Give you their OPINION!

I keep doing it because you make a person sound like a total idioit. That is amusing to me sometimes, that is probably why i have not gotten a best answer forever though, i keep answering only one-sided quesitons, but then again, who really cares?

I have a lot of people who email me in support of my responses, who don't respond themselves, but thank me for standing up to these people. My answers are somewhat for the asker, but also somewhat for those who browse, just to give some balance to one sided questions. It is a tough battle, but one worth fighting...
