I am a complete techno phobe and literally have no idea how to do this.

How do I transfer music onto a blank CD (which is in my disc drive) from Real Player without having to pay for any software etc? Need compilation CD'S for a party!

Sorry I am so dumb. I am aware there are 5 year old that can already do this.

Ok, I currently don't have real player on this computer, so this will be from memory only.

If the music files are already in your library all you need to do is go to the Burn/Transfer tab. If you are using an older version, then I think it may be Device Manager, but I'm not sure.

Once you click on the Burn/Transfer tab, there will be a task menu on the side bar, number 2 should be "Add Tracks from my library" Pick which list has your songs, it should be divided into media, videos, music, and playlists. Then simply click on the track you want and it will appear in the area next to the task menu.

Once you have all the songs you want (or will fit, it will tell you if no more will fit) click on the Burn CD option and it will do just that.

Added tip: If you go to number 3 on the task menu, it will give you the option of editing a few options. If you are getting failed burns, it maybe helpful to chose a lower disc record speed, or add a 2-second gap between tracks.

You must have a CD burner in order to do this.
