My moses-in-the-cradle is outgrowing its current pot and needs to be repotted. I was wondering what potting soil I should use.

Well drained soil is best, I would suggest a orchaid blend with one part perlite and Peat Moss.

When I lived in Canada we used to baby along our "Moses in the Cradle" Rhoeo spathacea... but here in Barbados it grow wild and thrives in dry well drained soils. Actually does best growing between rocks and coral outcroppings.
So I would have to say, use well drained sterilized soil and do not over fertilize.

I have had the best luck with Miracle Gro soil. There are several types. They seem to have all the right nutrients in them. They even have one with moisture control. I also believe that Scott's is very good, I just prefer Miracle Gro because I have had such good luck with it. Your plant is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
