Interesting question. As much as it would cause me great anxiety, I'd rather know. I think that it would help to put certain things into perspective and even make some decisions less agonizing. Some problems would no longer be relevant! Of course, focusing on the fact that one was going to die would be a downside. I'd have to work hard to keep things in balance and savour the time that I had left.

Everyone is going to die, it's a fact of life, ironically enough.
But, NO. I don't want to know. Thank you very much.
I don't want to spend the last few months of my life worrying about how, where it's gonna happen and how my family is going to deal with it. And trying to take care of all the little details now and making sure things are set to rights.
Let some one else worry about it for awhile.

The only thing that worries me about knowing is that what if I am wrong... and I find myself homeless, with no money and no clothes because I gave away all of my posessions. And then what if I decided to have sex with every woman who had every known disease to mankind.. and then it turned out that I would end up living another 40 years.. and what if I borrowed a bunch of money from a loan shark and ended up living past my predicted death date? Then I gotta run from the loan shark for the next 40 years.

I would rather know so I can tell my family goodbye and get my will in order ,and to plan a funeral that would inspire people to give their life to the Lord while they are living ,in fact I plan on having some kind of church service at mine! People will listen more when they are sad or hurt .

I would rather know, but then I've always been a little different that way. The unknown bothers me, like snipers who pick off targets unaware. Then again, since there's no way to really know, I'll just have to deal with not knowing.

We are all going to die, but I wouldn't want to know when because then that would make me rush life, worry about all that i have not yet accomplished and I would not enjoy the time I have left

Not at all. I want it to happen when it is going ot happen. Living life knowing when I was going to die would probably make me a little loony as the days got closer.

If it is far away in the future, I would like to know, then somehow forget about it as the time nears.
That way I would know how much money I would need for retirement, but wouldn't be stressed out as the fated day nears.

ya id want to know. i mean if im going to die tomorrow id want to make sure i did a few things first. if it wasnt going to be for years, then id never really have to worry about it anymore, id know that whatever scary thing might happen im not meant to die until whenever. and you could come to terms with your own death before it happened that would be interesting.
