I am not on Yaz, but on Yasmin. Have you been on any kind of birth control before? If not, your body may just be adjusting to the estrogen level. I also know that with birth controls this is a common side effect. If it soooo unbearable where it hurts to shower or wear a bra, I would talk to my doctor.

Breast tenderness is a fairly common side effect of the oral contraceptive pill. When I started taking the pill I suffered from this too. The best treatment (I'm a doctor and I've worked with several breast specialists and this is what they recommend) is 1000mg of Oil of Evening Primrose a day. This is more than recommended on the box, but won't do you any harm at all. It can take a month or so to notice the difference, but it really does work.
