Music is the expression of the soul, so my question isn't only what is your favorite CD, but why? Why do you like that music, is it the political views the artist speaks of, or maybe a story of the hardships of true poverty life. In any case, Why do you like your favorite CD. How does it speak to you.

I listen to Atmosphere's "God Loves Ugly". It's about hating your ex-girlfriend for all the bull sh*t she put you through, it's about depressing moments, it talks about getting high and drunk just to stop thinking about all those depressing moments. At the same time though it can be up-beat, uplifting, and sometimes humorous. Isn't that how life is sometimes?

Disturbed's 'The Sickness' CD.....it's great to listen to when I'm pissed off about something.

I also like Nickelback's 'All the Right Reasons' & Three Days Grace's self-titled CDs....for me, they're just fun to sing along with! :)

Fishbone-The Essential Fishbone (political, rock, ska, funk all rolled into one)

Bad Brains-Rock for Light (I still like it better than the self-titled album no matter what people say-hardcore punk with plenty to say)

Sex Gang Children: Fall (SGC....they just have great songs)
