I don't, but when my wife comes home and I see the grocery bill I often wonder...Wow! thats alot of food and an awful amount of money. Do we really need or eat all of this?

When my husband and I first moved in together we would spend $150 a week on groceries at Aldis(the cheap store) now I only go grocery shopping once a month and spend $200 if we don't have it we don't eat it

Yeah, I do too. I've always wanted to go to a supermarket, fill my trolley with booze, and put a packet of nappies on top. When the clerk rings it through, pretend I don't have enough money and put the nappies back. Imagine the look on their face...

They say (whoever 'they' are) To NOT go shopping when you are hungry. Always eat before you shop - and you most likely won't be tempted to buy more than you need or want.
I find this to be true.

It just depends on how hungry I am when I walk in to the store. If I eat before I go, then I can pretty much stay within the budget.

I think you are one that likes to cook......and if your like me you dont going back......you just want to get everything for the week and be done with it. I would assume that is why you do it.
