Well, I think it depends on how good of an RB you're hoping for.
If you're after someone like Rudi Johnson or Rueben Droughns, you should target someon elike Javon Walker to offer in a trade.
If you are after a stud RB like Tomlinson or Larry Johnson, you're probably looking at Steve Smith, Crumpler, or Baltimore's D....or a combination of them.
What I'd do first....is consider dropping one of your kickers or maybe Favre...assuming there's a high-upside waiver guy available like Maroney or Adai or something like that.
But while Steve Smith is good...like all receivers he will have down games (when he even plays). A stud RB will perform week in/week out. And you have Javon Walker and D. Branch to keep your receiving corp strong. Branch is now in Seattle where he instantly becomes their biggest passing target from here out. And Steve Smith should fetch you a great RB in a trade.
There's my two cents.

Don't panic. You had a bad week, it happens. Your team is potentially very solid. Branch signing in Seattle helped your depth.
Here's some ideas. Consider shipping off Foster. He is very, very injury prone and has yet to finish a season in the NFL. You might be able to package him and Winslow for a first line starter. Talk to the team that has DeAngelo Williams.
I'm not a fan of carrying two kickers. I would dump Janikowski. You might think of dumping Vanderjagt, if his health is still an issue. Kickers are a dime-a-dozen.
You might consider dumping Jerry Porter. He was inactive last night, and it appears he's going to get the "Marcus Allen" treatment. I don't think his salary cap situation will allow him to be traded.
You might want to speculate on a couple of rookie RBs. Jerious Norwood is worth a look. You might be able to trade something for Laurence Maroney (NE) while he's cheap.
Tinker, but don't scrap the whole team...

Give up Steve Smith and you might be able to get a really good RB from someone. Or package Foster with either Branch or Walker.
Your Qb's won't get you anything and Duckett is a waste of a roster spot. While Winslow and Crumpler are good, they won't get you anything in return and please only have one kicker. There is no need for two. Yes there is a bye week but just pick up a kicker then and then get rid of him the following week.

It must be LT, he does each and every thing correct. He the whole contained in the NFL becuase he's an all round RB. He can run, capture, and block better than any RB. Peterson is extremley staggering, rather on the grounds that hes is only a rookie or perhaps splitting includes with Chester Taylor. yet he cant do each and every thing LT can yet, provide Peterson some extra years to study.

dood your rbs are going to be crap, get any other two starters,
Caddy is overrated, remember he rushed for under 30 yds on 10+ carries 5 times last year!
oh and whoever said "pick up morency or lundy" should be shot.
They combined for 45 yds last week and they don't look like they are going to improve b/c o'line sucks in Houston. I live here! Also ...Gado? Ya im sure he'll see alot of time after green rushed 20 times for 110 yds against the best D in the league... lay off the sauce dood

If possible drop Jerry Porter for Braylon Edwards and see what you can get for J. Walker and D. Foster. Try for S. Jackson I'm not sure anyone will bite. You might or might not want to do it for someone like W. Dunn. D. Branch can now become your second WR.
Or try to get A. Green (GB) for someone of lesser value, he'll have a pretty good season.

try and pick up wali lundy or vernand morency or samkon gado. might stilll be on the waiver wire. with dominick davis gone, both lundy and morency are the lead backs. only problem is who's it gonig to be that breaks out. gado is green's backup and green is quite prone to injury and fumbleitis so he might not be a bad one to grab.
get rid of janikowski. hold onto vanderjagt; he's still in it.

Yikes. Get a new QB first. Bledsoe might lose his job to Tony Romo, ha ha. And I love Brett, but you know how that is going to go this year for him.

The first thing you should do is get a new QB! Chances are the ones you have won't start the whole season.
