Anyone wanna go rake a big pile & jump in them? You do the raking, I'll do the jumping?

I live in Western NC, which is in the highest elevations of the Appalachian Mountains, and only one type of tree is beginning to show signs of fall, they are yellow... the first week of October is usually the best time to go for scenic drives and that sort of thing, right now, there are just a few falling off the trees. Yeah, my husband and I do the raking and the girls and Hercules, our bulldog, enjoy jumping in them.

I live in the middle of the desert.... it is still hot as **** here (over 100 degrees mid day)
even when the weather changes there isnt enough trees to be able to rake the leaves and jump in....(unless you dont mind pine needles)
I kinda miss that...(the leaves not the pine needles)

Yes, they're turning into fall colours.
But over here there's not enough leaves on the floor to make a big pile yet.

Not yet! Here in Texas its still 85-90 everyday. Still waiting for that cold front! Probably and usually doesn't happen until mid to late October. The trees will be green until then.
