My mother's will states the house will be sold and the proceeds divided between 7 children after bills paid. My cousin, a CPA is the executor of the will and wants us 7 kids to quick claim the house to him so he can sell it ad pay the bills and divide the rest between us 7 children.

First of all -- why is the cousin wanting the "Quit Claim" -- sounds to me like a problem in the making -- do you TRUST this cousin???

As the Executor of the will -- he should be arranging with a Realtor to have the house put up for sale, and the furnishings going to an estate auction -- and NONE of you siblings HAVE to sign ANY DOCUMENT to do this --

Let me repeat -- NONE of you have to sign ANY Quit Claim or other documents -- the will will dictate the terms of the sale -- and NO document should be signed UNLESS it is ALL of you signing for the SALE of the HOUSE to a VALID and QUALIFIED BUYER!

I would let a realtor sell the house and keep it as an estate.
