We have been off and on for about 8 years now. We both picked other people to be with. We have always had an understanding that when it came down to marriage we would sit down and discuss it rather it was him and I or another female. He did not talk with me before porpoising and the girl that he is engaged to is not the one for him, not saying it out of spike but she is just not the one. She brings out the bad in him.

Honestly, all you can do is be happy for your ex.

You have to believe this because that will set you free to find that person in your life that you want.

Hanging on to the past is nice and all, when it gives you nice memories but it isn't when your having bad thoughts.

If she's the one he loves and wants to spend the rest of his life with, so be it. It's absolutely none of your business.

Why would you two discuss this marriage if he's marrying someone else? Your not his mother or his sister.

He's with someone else now. So he owes you nothing. He doesn't have to discuss it with you or anything. That is his business and you need to stay out of it. Let him go. He's obviously happy with her, so be happy for him. It's that simple.

Your no longer together, so I'm not sure why he would want to ask your permission anyway. Its really none of your business, so stay out of his.

Porpoised? Maybe you should "flipper" the bird . . .
