Sure. For a robot, remove the hard drive & send the rest to the scrap yard. For a puppet, just remove the hand that controls it & put the body through a wood chipper.

But really, why would you want to do that? Then who would you talk to?

The word kill only applies to things that are alive.

That excludes robots, puppets, dust pans, bottle openers, and wallpaper (in case you are planning to ask about them next)

No. To kill something means to take away life from it. If it isn't alive in the first place then that is impossible.
Mind you - it's possible to kill a conversation.

Try this, get a stone and hit it with your head 4 to 5 times very hard, then take a look of the stone and you'll see it will be bleeding and if you don't take it to the hospital it will die by the loss of blood.

I am killing time by answering your question.
The local football team "murdered" their last opponents by scoring every few minutes and keeping the oponents from scoring.
I have a headache that is killing me, so I will quit here.

I don't think so, but here is some good advice, tie a rope around you neck and then attach it to maybe a beam or some high object and simple allow your self to hang there and think about why you are so stupid and gay.

I suppose you could. It would of coarse be more of a 'figurative' death but in your mind if it's dead.... it's dead. Until I pick it up and start taunting you with it! LOL For complete "death" you would have to shred it completely!!!

Have a great day!!!

P.S. loved you in the whole 'Planet of the Apes' series. The remake sucked without you!

Well, it's just down to semantics - if you take 'alive' to mean 'functioning' then yes - I often hear people say things like 'The radio's dead' or 'I've killed my PC!'.
