I'm inherently negative and constantly have to "remind" myself to be positive. It's become way easier to keep a positive outlook over time... but ever so often I find myself back to my old ways when I don't keep myself in check.
I used to get upset because "bad things always happened to me" or because I was "the unluckiest person in the world".... and then I eventually realized that bad stuff ALWAYS happens to EVERYBODY. And that, while you can't change WHAT happens, you CAN change HOW you react/respond to it. And positive people find the positive in even the most difficult situations.
Comments about "a silver lining" used to frustrate and piss me off.... now I know they couldn't be more true.

Always positive. What do you have to lose. You have to be realistic but I I think positive people live a more full filled healthier life. Look at all the anti depressants on the market. Not that there is anything wrong with it if you really need it but there are a lot of depressed people out there.

I'm a blend of both. In youth I was fairly negative due to circumstances of life-altering magnitude. Now, I've come to terms with the fact that bad things happen to good people, just like good things happen to bad people.
As a matter of rule, I try to offer positive instead of negative to others around me...but once I've lost my temper, I'm liable to say something that can be rather cutting & caustic, even though I usually feel sorry about it after.

I am very positive, and this is a good quality for any one who would like to succeed in life, a positive person is someone with courrage, persistant, belief, motivated, eagerness, self estime,... to be positive you have to always reject the negative because it is the barrier of your achievements.

My wife is always negative and I'm attracted to her, and the law says opposites attracts, so I must be positive. Depending on the situation, I think all people has its negative and positive sides.

I am a positive person. I think if you only think negatively you will only have negative things 'happen' to you

I used to be a negative person, but some things happened that made me reevaluate my outlook, and now I would say that I'm usually an optimist.
