black is a great game to buy if u haven't already played it. madden 07 is another great game to buy to.

depends on what genre of game you like...
If you like FPS style games, either of the Red faction games or Unreal Tournament...
If you like RPGs, then definately get a Final Fantasy game, either the PS1 or PS2 series, they are both amazing!!!
If you prefer Strategy games then maybe something like Age of Empires or any of the Might and Magic series...
Alternatively you could go for a platformer such as Psychonauts or possibly Viewtiful Joe...
Other random games I like are X-Men Legends series, Summoner series, Eyetoy play series, Resident Evil series...
if all else fails, get something that has a funky cover and nice looking screenshots

I like Yakuza for PS2 and I will be buying COMPANY of HEROS this Friday ( release date ) Sept 15 . 2006.
this game looks very realistic and promising.For those of you who have a PC and bought Dawn of War and Dawn of War ;Winter Assault - it is from THQ ( relic pub) and it plays along the same combat system as Dawn of War.
