I think that the Bush family--the very very rich Bush family, had connections with the ruling family in Saudi Arabia. The Saudis contribute to terrorist organizations, including Al-Quaida. The Bush family did not want to "call out" the Saudis for fear of what it would do to business interests.

Also, it is to the benefit of the Saudis to have Iraq and Afghanistan in "war" and turmoil. So, it is quite possible that this was all cooked up to anger the American people enough to make us WANT to go to war with some Arabs somewhere. Then, in comes George W with an idea!! Why not go look for those WMD and "create" a new democracy.

For all of you who think that the American gov't. wouldn't kill its own citizens to line pockets with profit: Oh yeah?? What about Tuskeegee? What about the cities that were sprayed with various substnces, including bacteria, "to see how Americans react".? What about the innocent women and children in Iraq, that we have the nerve to call "collateral damage", as if they were a few trees that got knocked down? Don't you think that a few thousand Americans could be killed if it meant that we could get into the war that the rich folks wanted? Hey! a few thousand soldiers have been killed.
What about the people that are swtill not being taken care of in Louisianna????????? Our government treats us as the "slaves" they intend for us to be--the worker bees making money/honey for the queen/king.

Yeah! There was a conspiracy, but we will never know exactly what it was. Just know that the whole world is run by that 2% of people who own 98% of the wealth, and we can bang our heads from now until doomsdsay, and we"ll never wrest control from them. When we get restless or inquisitive, they cause us to have a "better" economy, so that we are happier. Or, they raise gas prices so that we start to hate all Arabs. Or they toss in a little "illegals are tasking all of our jobs" to point us towardsw another minority. (Because it's so easy to hate a minority, and so easy to blame them....)

Yes, he had plenty to do with the attacks. And, instead of using yesterday as a day of mourning, he used it to futher cement into the minds of America that Iraq has something to do with this alleged war on terror...even after it has been proven that Sadaam had NO TIES with Al-Queda and did not support them. Instead, he goes on record saying that Sadaam was a threat - to WHo?? Certainly not to America. To his own people? In that case, I can name several other countries commiting human rights abuses as well - but they have no oil under their land, so they arent worth defending......
Furthermore, I find it rather intersting that we found Sadaam in a hole in the ground in Iraq, but we cant seem to find bin Laden in a cave....And is it a coincidence that the bin Laden family was actually in Texas visiting with Bush Sr. when the attacks took place? Ask yourself - why would Bush hunt down and kill the son of a family friend? He wont. Thats why bin Laden is still free today - they are in cahoots.
