Now - or later?
Explain now and you have the chance to work it out.
Get found out or blurt it out a few years down the line and it could be disaster.
Try explaining first that you have something that you have not told him. That it hurts you deeply etc and then unburden yourself.
Relationships need to be built on trust. If you do not tell him then you are not trusting him and if he finds out that will be underlined in aces and spades.
Do the right thing. GOOD LUCK.

Let it be, my dear. It'll be of no good...
I understand your feelings, but what good do you aim to achieve by your "confession". You want to seek redemption now, but think how it will affect him in the whole process!
Your need is for your own benefit. For the one who hears your confession, it'll only be a painful burden. So, after taking one decision unilaterally, why dont you try to find the strength to bear the burden of your actions. Why dont you stop looking for the easiest way out!!
I deeply believe, when two people come together in love, they live for each other.
Instead of worrying about how hard it may be to move out, and break-up with him... I'd suggest that you try being slightly more self-less, and carry the guilt of your decision to not involve him in deciding the future of your unborn.
If you really wish to atone, promise your self to be true to him for the rest of your life, and seek comfort in the hope that for this sorrow that you brought for him, you'll fill his life with a lot of happiness.

In order to have a sincere relationship, you really need to be honest. Needless to say, regardless of whatever it is .. if he loves you I am sure things can be worked out

I'm not sure, it depends on if you are really planning to be with him forever or not. If you are going to dump him, don't hurt him even more by telling him this, he will only hate you for it. If you want to be with him though, you should come clean or it will eat you up inside. And the longer you wait to tell him the truth, the more pain it will cause him. Good luck!

if its something that affects him as well as you then YES you need to tell him !
if its something that only affects you , then spare him the heartache .....
i cant imagine what else aside from cheating that would cause a break up .... unless its an STD ,, if thats the case then you HAVE got to tell him . good luck .
EDIT:
holy hell !!
thats a shi*y thing to do !
yes you need to tell him what you did ! if he is like the men i know , this will upset him badly ! and you have made a choice to do this alone ... you killed his baby ,, he deserves to know that .
good grief , here i was being all sympathetic !
you made this bed , now lay in it !

Be honest with him. If you hold this in and he finds out later that you didn't tell him, he will be more upset than if you had just been upfront and honest to begin with. If he is very serious about you, you two can work it out!
