What about opening a store that sells exclusively tights and stockings. That way most of the people who come to your shop will be dedicated to hosiery and most of them should be wearing tight or stockings (regardless of the weather) when they come to your shop to purchase their new favourite pair.
I personally would love a shop like that...one with all types and colours...what better than being spoilt for choice!

First of all, have a look to see what the market is out there. Who is your competition. Is there a company that deals solely with tights and stockings? Would you stock anything else like lingerie?
Study your market, see how much money this generates in the apparel industry in the UK, go to shows such as Intimate London: Body and Beach (lingerie and swimwear show). And is this really something you want to do? Do you want to design them or just sell them? Ask yourself these kind of questions and just be sure of what it would take. Good luck!

I'm not female but from personal experience, there is none - or very few - products in this line for the larger lady. Big women can be sexy -they need stockings that will stay up without rolling
