i am 39 weeks pregnant and i had bad stomach ache yesterday and today i am having a show how long after can contractions starts

bloody show represents the thinning of your lining, which means your cervix is dialating. once you get to ten.. PUSH! hehe

2 days should be a normal window, although some women take a week (like my wife) Best of luck!

It may be 5 min. and it may be a week! Everyone is different. With both of my pregnancies, I lost my mucus plug (had bloody show) about a week prior to actually going into labor.

Usually once you show you want to be checked out by your doctor to see what your cervix is doing.

I'd just give your OB a call and let him know what you have going on.

im only 37 weeks and i have been having show for a few days now the doctor told me that it dont mean anything necessarily..

go for it just make sure you know where the nearest hospital is and make sure your not having to much rushing, drama, or excitment going on around you

if the baby is 36 weeks, he's consider full term... u'll have him any day now.
