jumping rope and running up and down hills will help develop the calf muscles and help you jump higher. i did a lot of that when i was younger and i could dunk at 5'10".

Box jumping. Do not do squats, they don't build the explosive muscles you need for jumping.
You need something high you can jump onto. A height that is enough for you to do 8-12 reps and a couple of sets. When that height becomes too easy, raise the height or do it holding something heavy.

Instead of ankle weights, use a weight vest to which you can add weights - usually 4 ounces at a time. I do not like ankle weights as they put too much pressure on both the ankles and knees.

I can definitely help you with this, i play for my school and i'm 5'9 what i'm doing is putting ankle weights on and jumping rope. That really helps because when you take them off, you'll have a lot of air. good luck
