She has acctually forged my name to several documents and then says that since we are married she now has the right to sign my name. I don't think this is correct but I need some sort of input before consulting a lawyer.

It is not legal for a spouse or anyone to sign for you, this is forgery, against the law. You can actually file charges against your spouse.

Something similar happened to a friend of mine. Her husband took HER bank card and withdrew money and they had nothing for the rent afterwards. She was able to prove from the security camera where he withdrew from the ATM and she was able to file charges against him.

whoa she can seriouly going to JAIL for that... You need to get a lawyer and let them know what going on and proof it what you found out. and then say that she Forged your name. and Make sure that you take care of this asap...

I would never do that to my wife... because it wrong and only if I asked her if i can sign her name on her check and she will say yes.. but not saying thing and sign the check then it wrong no matter if we are married. didn'tmean you can do those things.

It's not legal for him to sign your name on the cheque and cash it, that is fraud.

However if he writes "For Deposit Only" and deposits into a bank account that is under your name then that it is OK.
Unfortunately, he can then just simply turn around and make a withdrawal against the deposit.

Ask a lawyer. It may be considered marital property.

Hell no, it's not! Better get her in tune with what's right and wrong before things get more out of hand than they already are! Good luck to you.

She can't even legally open your mail even though you're married. Put a stop to it. It's not legal.
