I think walking before a meal is better, it's my own personal opinion but I seem to have more energy before. Once I eat I'm pretty much history. Plus if you take a nice long walk or run, eating afterwards gives you something to look forward to.

I think after a meal .. but I have heard that both are equally as good. The important thing is to get your metabolic rate up so your body will use more calories. Also, don't eat any food after 7PM .. if you are worried about gaining weight. Good Luck ! :)
