I'm going to the Philippines on Dec 16 for a romantic vacation with my fiance, we love the beach...I've narrowed down my choices to Camiguin and Bohol. Any opinions out there?

These two islands both have great beaches so let's compare accessibility and amenities.
Bohol is a bigger island therefore, is more accessible to plane, boat and land. I don't think Camiguin has an airport. You'll probably take a plane from Manila to Cebu or Bohol or Leyte then take a boat to Camiguin.
Bohol is more developed in terms of infrastructure so if you want to stay in a more or less city area, go to Bohol. But if you want to be more laidback and close to nature, go to Camiguin.

Bohol. You can also make a side trip to Cebu via a ferry boat. It will only take you 45 mins - 1 hr to get there. There are also a lot of beautiful beaches there. Camiguin is more a quiet province. Both Bohol and Camiguin have less tourists and nightlife. You might want to re-consider your choices. And include Boracay in your list.

Bohol or Camiguin? Bohol... but since you love the beach I suggest that you consider Palawan, too. You can stay at Dos Palmas, El Nido, or Club Noah. The beaches there are super beautiful!

if you really love beach, you go to malapascua island in cebu or boracay island in iloilo. Bohol also i think has nice beaches. Camiguin has a beach but its not as white as malapascua or boracay except for the island called White Island. i dont know the condition in bohol beaches during dec. (since it is rainy during dec) but in boracay, i know that there are lots of local tourist spend their holidays there. Now if you will consider a great nature interaction such as wildlife, eco trek etc... i think bohol is the best among the islands ive mentioned. Malapascua is famous in underwater adventure. Camiguin has several waterfalls, hotsprings, cold springs. Boracay is famous for its sugary fine white sand. Bohol is more on eco sites. Theres another place you might want to consider, palawan island almost like as malapascua island, nice beaches too. If you both love the beach, you need not narrow your choices as of yet. The country is full of beautiful beaches. If you want it romantic, then you should opt for the more private or secluded beach resorts. Palawan would be better (Club Noah, El Nido, etc.)
Bohol is now growing fast as a tourist destination. It is also the take off point to other outdoor activities such as whale watching, etc.
I guess you need to figure out what else you want to do aside from "honeymooning"?

camiguin is nice but i'd rather go for bohol because there are a lot of resorts to choose from..

camiguin! small island with friendly people and trusted, you can rent a motor bike for $12 a day and you can go all around the island, try also the hot spring since dec time is a bit cool time of the year. you can rent a boat to go to a nearby islet all white sand, if lucky theres only you in the islet but be careful when high tide comes it submerges to the sea... enjoi your stay.. which ever you choose..

just go to bohol now, because of the oil spill, camiguin is destroyed and yet our government say it is just a f..ing accident and no fault to petron and the shipping company. what a crooked and most corrupt government my country have,
