D`ya think 3000 years of listening to every sick and twisted individuals evil thoughts, hearing the screaming of the suffering, seeing children being abused. Watching every depraved or evil act ever committed would drive you MAD?
How can God possibly be sane after all that?

This doesn't tell us whether God is sane or not, obviously different religions believe in different things. But in Islam we believe that the devil causes the bad things.... Yes i would go insane and well i could feel suicidal because theres a certain extent of which a human can take. We do need a break from the world, from our busy lives to just breathe...

I think the creator can handle our little musings, they probably sound more like whispers.
I read a book a while back about people who were telepathic who worked as spies and were trained to tune out other thoughts and hone in on only the important ones.

I cannot, in good conscience, answer the God part of your question, but yes, if I had to hear everyone's voice in their head as well as my own, I imagine I would go insane in some way after not too long. For one thing, I sure would stay off the subway!

He doesn't have to hear the thoughts of man. He is omnipresent omnipotent and omniscient. These sounds you speak of, is exactly why Christs death was so horrific and so pain specific. To shed Holy blood, to cover these sins.

Of course we would! But we're limited creatures that only use a tiny percentage of our brain (maybe some less than others actually, judging by some of the answers on here!)

they did a charmed episode about it. and i think that's why God is God,he is the only one who can do that,without going insane or mad,if he was simple human like us yes,he would go insane.
