I agree. I have cable, but I have a friend who doesn't. Even if he did, I still think it's a loss of viewers (and they should have kept sunday night on EPSN, and just gave Monday to NBC....I don't know why they switched). Luckily for people here in SD, ABC was playing the Chargers game too.
Sunday is the new Monday anyway (regardless of games). Al and John are football icons, regardless of day. The guys are EPSN are douchebags, especially Theisman and Kornheiser. I'm glad they got Jaws and Vermiel to announce the 2nd game.

I used to watch ESPN religiously. I came to grow tired of Chris Berman and his 3rd grade name calling(for nicknames). ESPN over analyzes and over markets whatever they have on their broadcast schedule. I am so thankful my TV has a volume control so I can turn the idiots down who call the games. I rarely watch ESPN now it grew old quickly.
I saw the Monday night move coming a couple of years back when ESPN was bought by ABC's company or however they were acquired. ESPN wants so badly to be the Coca-Cola of sports its not even funny. They have definitely ruined the Super Bowl. Just let the guys play the game and leave the concerts for E! TV or something.

I agree with you that it sucks having to pay to watch the game on tv. But if you think about it, mooching off a friend to watch the game is better. I know if I watch the game myself, it's pretty boring.

this question was asked last night, not the same way, but if it mattered, and i was like, MNF is MNF. either way it is good. I did not look at this aspect of it and you are right. That really does suck. I of course have cable as well... but there ARE some people that like to save money as much as they can. Well I guess it will come down to who is a real football fan.... but yes i agree

It sucks. ESPN has become so full of itself. It thinks it is the be all end all of sports. Of course, I'm biased, I'm a hockey fan and they no longer show hockey--they show more important sports like bowling, darts, poker. Yes, poker is fun to play but who wants to sit around and watch someone else play it?!?

ESPN is about as fair and balanced as Fox news. They suck.
Pre season. Pittsburgh vs Philadelphia. The first half was all about T.O. BORING.

I you can not afford cable than you should not watch football. I do not want poor people or trailer trash such as Ozzie Guillen watching my sports.
