It doesn’t matter which side you are on, or who you support.
Our system only works if we get out and cast your real votes, not these silly yahoo votes.
So, don't whine if the other side wins, unless you’ve done your civic duty.

Amen to that! I tell people who talk politics around me and then go into how they're not going to vote for whatever reason to shove off. I don't care if you don't like either candidate, or feel it won't make a difference...apathy only exists because so many people are too lazy to actually get out there and put their beliefs to the test in the system. If everyone actually got out and voted, even if your side loses, at least you can say with confidence you've done what you can. And this doesn't stand just with presidential and congressional elections...if you don't like the candidates, for the love of America, get started voted in the primaries for your parties to get your candidate out there!

I think there's more to civic duty than just voting. A person should become informed about the candidates and issues and should do something for their party or favorite candidate, such as get out the vote calls or some door to door work.

I must be in the minorty because I vote in every election.
I do not vote party line but I vote for the one I think will do the best job if elected. This is from the mayor of my city to the people in Federal office.
