Any gift from a loved one should always be appreciated. I love my girlfriend, and I know that anything she gives me is from her heart!

I am a single mom of a son.. and asked myself the same question.. so.. that is what I do.. every Valentine's Day, I buy my son a single red rose. I have been doing that since he was 5 and is 15 now. As he gets older, I think he will not only love to give.. but also receive flowers as well. I guess it would depend on the man.. if he has good friends that pick on him in a friendly way.. I don't see the problem.. but.. if it is Testosterone filled where he works.. then.. I would save it for when he is home.. have them delivered to the house when he is there..

No, don't send flowers. That would be embarassing. You can send long stemmed Chocolate chip cookies, or better yet, certian grocery stores around here will create a basket with anything you want in it, such as beer, candy, chips, etc. He would like that!

I once sent daisies to my boyfriend at work after an argument, he works in maintenance at New Haven Correctional, CT. He's the resident electrician there. Well, anyway, all his co-workers/buddies were all there when he received them. He wasn't too happy.

my hubby of 11 yrs would get embarrassed. I asked him before I did it good thing. I guess it isnt manly for them. Instead buy the flowers and wait naked for him with the flowers in the bed.

Flowers and guys just don't make sense. We hardly understand why women like to receive them.

I wouldn't risk embarassing him. He might secretly like it, but outwardly thwart it. He'd probably be more amused with balloons.

I think it's a nice gesture. It depends on what sort of people he works with though. Probably best at home.
