Yes, her and Mrs Marple.
You could understand Columbo and Poriot being around murners - it was their jobs but Fletcher and Marple were jinxed. If they came to town I'd leave!

whenever she came to visit her nephew or niece, someone would get brutally done in!! Then the police would all turn into imbeciles and only Jessica could solve the case! As a kid, I was terrified. When my mum told me that my aunt was coming to see me, I would hide under the couch, thinking all aunts were like Jessica Fletcher. I thought : "she's here! the dog's going to die!"

Yes, now that you think about it, its all clear, how do they know so many people that get killed. for example, Mr. monk knows who the murder was because there was a piece of paper out of place or if there was a window open. I mean, I like Mr. Monk the 'obsessive compulsive detective' but isn't that just i bit weird???

My theory is that she's actually a homicidal maniac! She goes around framing people and getting away with it, and then writes about it in her novels-perfect, who would ever suspect the nicely spoken, old lady?! :-)

Well, it was a t.v. show called Murder She Wrote. It had to be about mysteries and murder and mayhem, right?
