The US punishes or threatens to punish Iran for its nuke program but Iran has signed this treaty and allows inspections. Israel has never allowed any inspections of its facilities at Damona. And please, no Israeli rhetoric about Iran "wanting to wipe Israel off the map."

"Israeli rhetoric"? It was the Irani president who said that. Not as reported by Israel, but as translated from his very words. To call it "Israeli rhetoric" is a manifestation of your apparent mindless anti-Semitism.

As for signing a treaty, why should Israel sign a treaty with people who wish it wiped off the map (Arabs, Muslims), or with people who wish it and all Jews would go away (EU)?

Israel has been peaceful, not starting any wars or conflicts, unlike its neighbors, and has never threatened any of its enemies with annihilation, despite the intransigent hatred of Israel by its enemies.

But even the UN and the EU have claimed Iran to be behaving in bad faith, and they have not allowed full inspections into its weapons programs.

You seem to be either an apologist for Iran's rogue criminal regime or an outright propagandist for them. Either way, you already have a lot of blood on your hands.

The NPT was not a mandatory treaty, only countries that signed it have to obey the treaty, but countries that did not sign it are prevented from having access to nuclear materials and knowledge,
I suppose that Israel did not sign the treaty because they did not want to break the treaty, and could afford to have their nuclear capability, if they really have one, without support, based on Israel powerful research capabilities. Some other countries are known to develop nuclear capability and declare they did (India,Pakistan), Iran signed the treaty but now tries to ignore it's signature.

Israel isn't as volatile as Iran and isn't any longer considered as a threat to different countries, so its nuclear weapons are reluctantly tolerated. The mullahs of Iran are extremists and extremely unpredictable. The countries maximum unfavourable in the direction of the Iranian nuclear application are actual its Arab neighbours like Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and so on. who've been privately urging united statesa. to strike. in assessment to Israel they don't have nuclear weapons and Iran is traditionally unfavourable to them with the aid of fact they're Sunni extremely than Shiite Muslims.

Because they're one of the sane nations on Earth, and the sane ones get to keep the nukes while the insane ones do not! That is called LAW AND ORDER and is the formula for a safe and secure world when the decent people like the United States, Britain and Israel retain the power and the madmen and crazies are constrained.

All the nukes in Israel came from the United States.

Iran does not allow inspections. They signed an agreement and then failed to live up to it.
