Yeah, for some reason, his name was "Gaggle." I don't remember much about him, other than I would be caught talking to what appeared to inanimate objects often.
But, have you ever wondered if children's "imaginary friends" were actually spirits? I've pondered the idea, although I have not concluded it.

No, I didn't, I have a brother that is 3 years younger than me and we got into all sorts of trouble between us. We were lucky to never need an imaginary playmate.

Yeah, I had actually had a group of imaginary friends called the Get Along Gang. The leader was Charlie, I listened to him more than my own parents. They hated him.

Kind of - I had a 'man in the mirror' that would leave me notes on a round mirror in my bedroom. Turned out it was a much older sister. I was crushed when I found out later!
But she has a son that had one that kind of got even for that trick - Alex had 'Smartlips', and he did ALL kinds of mischief that made 'Drop Dead Fred' (from the movie) look like a pussycat. Once, when doing laundry, she discovered Alex had holes cut in his underwear - when she asked, he said Smartlips had put firecrackers in them!

I never had imaginary friends as a kid, that's probably why I ended up talking to myself during my teenage years... and I find that pretty weird.

I did her name was Penelope. The last vivid memory I had of her was she walked down our steps at home and never came back. She wasn't much fun anyway.
