I see ads for mobile contracts offering 12 months line rental free on a 12 month contract ( via cashback). If this is true it really is free and we could have 10 each! So what's the catch, anyone tell me?

My father got a similar deal through dialaphone and it worked well for him. All you have to do is send you 4th, 8th and 12th bill and they will send you a cheque to cover the line rental you have been paying during each period.

Their isn't really a catch, except that a lot of people forget to claim their cashback (which has to be done within 30days of receiving the appropriate bill).

Hence these retailers can give you a headline grabbing deal but know deep down that very few people will actually claim back the line rental.

Be careful who you choose however, because some retailers offer these details and then disappear.

Check carphonewarehouse.com - They do similar deals but its easy to claim your cashback. Hope this helps.

I have had a phone with this and it is true.....the catch well you have to stay with them for the whole 12 months. Cancelling the contract will result in loosing your cashback and having to pay the remaining monthly rental for the 12 months. THe thing i had to do is i paid £17.50 for the first 3 months and then 35 form then on. After that i had to send off my 6th, 9th and 12th bill back to the company to redeem my cashback. I did this and recieved it. I was with '3' and its the same principle with all other companies.

i'm rather looking forward to this Ashes series and rather have not thoroughly written the Aussies off. in spite of this England ought to circulate into the series as overwhelming favourites with the aid of cutting-edge style and the undeniable fact that the series is being performed in England. I reckon Chris Rogers may be slightly a depressing horse as he's conscious the circumstances over right here fantastically lots. stable to work out some friendly banter flying around between the two instruments of supporters too!

I listened to consumer programs on the Radio about these offers about people being stuck with £30 per month line rentals and no cash back from the company, and have had to go to court.

You have to ask yourself if something looks to good to be true then well..........

probably the fact that they give you cashback after a certain period of paying line rental, probably 3 months, so you are still paying a monthly line rental, which will be expensive in itself
