He was only 1/12 years old.
And he died yesterday because he fell down like a sewer pump thing in my basement and I didn't know until my dad looked in there and saw Thumper.
I have had a lot of deaths in my life.
And I'm really sad.
What should I do.....

I'm really sorry for your loss of your Thumper - we've lost many family members, animals and friends too, and I really empathise with you - I know how terrible and difficult is loss and grief.

Remember all the good times you had with him - his life was full of love and happiness thanks to you. He'll know your love forever, just as you'll have him in your heart forever.

Wishing you good courage :-)

I have had several pets before, and found that the easiest way for the children to forget about the deaceased animal was to get another and name it the same. It takes a while, and I did'nt think it would actually work, but hey what the heck!

Buy another Rabbit and accept the fact the everything that comes out of the ground eventually comes back in.

Whatever happens that rabit was meant to die,god wanted this to happen and it did you cant change that.

Immortality is something unreal, its a illusion of humans. No more,No more.

Many times we mourn the loss of a pet more than we mourn the passing of loved ones. You'll just have to mourn fully, learn to let go and enjoy the time you had with your pet. I know it's hard, but it's all you can do.

You can message me if you wish, I've lost pets also that I still miss.

Mourn. You lost a loved one and it's OK to cry.

But fix the problem so you won't lose another loved one.

Perhaps this website will help. http://www.rainbowbridge.com I think you should get a cover for that pump or put a fence around it.

I found an old expression "the rabbit died" meaning you failed a pregnancy test.
