Actually the truth is you CAN put aluminium foil in Microwave ovens.
The foil can stop the waves from getting in so the part you shield with the foil wont be over cook (sometimes not cooked) like the legs of a chicken etc.
Sparks from the foils will only happen when the foil touch another foil (eg putting two foil trays inside) or when the foil touch the walls of the oven. The sparks will are not dangerous nor harmful to the food or the oven.
Some information from the Alumium Association
"Conclusive evidence that aluminum foil packaging can be used safely in microwave ovens has been established by a study from the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV in Freising, Germany.(EAFA, February 2006)."

In a food market/tremendous marketplace, because of the fact the others have mentioned. Even in some greenback shops, Walmart-form places, etc. pass to the aisle which has packing containers of trash bags, frequently cleansing components for the kitchen, etc. Forgive me if i'm oversimplifying your question right here, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that this is offered in an prolonged (approximately 2 toes. long) tube, encased in a skinny cardboard field. the only "products" i'm responsive to comprise what i've got only defined--an prolonged roll of the foil--or another element, extremely new, SHEETS of foil. greater suitable yet, pass to the food market and ask somebody who works there the place to discover aluminum foil.

Well the rule is to not put anything metal in your microwave. The worst that can happen is sparking, and short-fusing your microwave, but your microwave should not explode, that is a myth.

may cause a fire depending on how long the oven is on; it will cause the tube doing the cooking to wear out faster, also
