vent frustration; anyone who tries to make you think someone kills someone because they saw it on a movie, or a video game or whatever is full of bull. My kids watched that kind of crap, played that kind of crap, listened to that kind of crap in music, and are find upstanding citizens. There is something wrong deep in the core first to go do something like kill cuz you did it on a video game. Fantasy versus reality.

That's funny ! No, games don't teach people to kill.
But, I do believe it helps relieve some stress for a lot of people.
( On the other hand, I've also see a lot of people GET stressed by playing them. But not to the point of wanting to go out and kill someone. )

It's a videogame. That's it. If people really followed what videogames show, all the kids from the 80s (myself included) would be yellow dots running around in the streets eating floating white lines and being paranoid about colored ghosts. Don't blame murder to videogames, if anything they allow you to loose perception of reality (like a movie or a song) but only temporarily, which allows you to cope with reality itself. It's called Entertainment.

Murders were committed way before video games were invented. Either you have the capability to kill people or you don't, it doesn't matter what games you do or don't play.

I'm not sure but those two nice Jewish boys who committed the atrocities at Columbine loved first person shooter games. If you watch the footage it looks as though they are living out there 'Counter Strike' / 'Half Life' dreams. Sick kids.
