I have a laptop, DDR 2700 333mhz memory what can I to upgrade. Backwards compatiblity?

I'd like to get 2 512 cards and I'll be using the laptop for media mostly. I have 256 now and it is terrible.

Make sure the laptop supports 2 512MB sticks, it should but just make sure. I would stick with the DDR 2700 though since that's what it in it now...you can probably use DDR 3200 (400mhz) though.

check out www.crucial.com. select your laptop model and they will tell you what is compatiable.
