Who requires more mental stimulation: people with higher IQs, or those with lesser IQs?

This is an interesting question. People with higher IQ's may seek out more mental stimulating activities than people with lower IQ's. Does that mean that they require more stimulation? Also, people with higher IQ's may find more mental stimulation in the same stimulus than people with lower IQ's.

Still, the brains of people with higher IQ's will probably be working just as hard or not as hard as the brains of people with lower IQ's when presented with the same stimulus. People with higher IQ's may use their brain more efficiently and not need to activate their mind as much as people with lower IQ's. Less is more to get the same job done.

Obviously people with higher IQ's need more mental stimulation. I don't think that Albert Einstein would just sit around watching tv all day, he was stimulated by many other things, which helped him grow. Even as a child when we are introduced to a variety of different stimuli that is what helps to make us grow more mentally, emotionally and intellectually. Just think if you weren't exposed to being taught how to read and write you wouldn't be able to do this. That makes you a higher IQ than someone who cannot. So therefore you want to read and write...etc., where as some one who cannot does not want to and may even avoid it if they can.

who ever possesses intelligence, they all require stimulation. and there is no human who has zero intelligence. those with higher IQs keep looking out for stimuli that can whet their thirst for aquiring more knowledge. and those with lesser IQs also require mental stimulus so that they can also live meaningfully. just becoz people with lesser IQs do not express their requirement of stimulation, others tend to think they do not need it. and people with higher IQs have the gift of expression so that everybody understand that they require more stimulation. but it is our duty as fellow human beings to provide stimulation for every one, whatever be their degree of intelligence, some kind of mental stimulation so that they too feel good about themselves and feel the self-worth.

People with higher IQs seem to need more stimulation. Students who have high IQs do not receive enough stimulation in regular classes, which leads to them becoming easily bored and actually doing bad in the class.

Mental stimulation increases IQ! The answer to your question is ... they both need lots of it!
I can furnish sources that prove me out from current literature about primates. If you stop stimulation in chimps, they grow very dull and uninterested. The more you stimulate them the more interests and problem solving skills they demonstrate.
In regards to people, it's old knowledge in scientific circles ... EVERYBODY likes stimulation of all kinds.
For me? I'm moved by computers, TV, Movies, reading, walking, visiting relatives, keeping up with my friends and making new ones. All of this really keeps me going."

they're perplexed by ability of folk with bigger IQ's via fact they fail to appreciate something reported. Have a low usual of training ability you're ignorant, not something to be happy with. i think of anybody brave sufficient to scratch the floor of Christianity quickly discovers that's produced from drivel.
