Get a faster Internet connection (DSL, Cable, etc). That is the only way to speed up your Internet connection.

Sorry but the only way to increase your "net speed" is to change your ISP to DSL or Cable.
While you are still on dial up be careful of pages with lots of graphics or video, and sound files. they tend to be large and will take longer to load.

you have two options you can call your ISP and see if they support multi link if they do you can add another 56k modem and get double the bandwidth. or you can get upgrade your service to dsl which they offer at the same price as dial up these days.

56 is the maximum the modem can do, and you will never get near it. Broadband is the way to go.

You will not be able to improve the speed, I remember a craze a years back for software to speed up your Dial up but it was all a con.
The only way is to get ADSL/Cable
