Chad Johnson makes sure that he works WITH the team, not against it. he is there for the game, not the oney, or the spotlight. TO, even though an awesome player, has a terrible attitude, and it shows in everything he does. If he would just get off his high horse, maybe someone would want to keep him, and maybe he would have partners in the game.

Everyone is missing the point. They are both excellent receivers with an eye on entertaining/self-promoting. But, TO demanded to be traded/released or have a new contract with 2 teams. Chad Johnson has not caused those problems.

I agree! Chad Johnson is absolutly NO BETTER than TO.
I think a large part of it has to do with the fact that Johnson plays in Cincinnati (not a large market) so much of his antics go unnoticed.
Chad Johnson is nothing but an over-rated self-hyping ego-maniac.

I think Guru was the first to hit the nail on the head by basically saying that TO is a self-promoting jerk who, when he trash talks, does so maliciously, while 85 jokingly talks smack. Watch In Their Own Words: Chad Johnson (if you have NFL network) and you'll see. He jokes around with the DBs, ex: he was hanging out with Fred Smoot (CB vikings) before a game, and he said:
Chad: I ain't gonna wear no underwear today. I ain't wearing no under wear.
Fred: Good......cuz I'm coming up your ***!
Then they laughed and patted eachother on the back.
Chad's an all around good guy. HE needs a book, not this jerk TO.

If all TO did was have flashy touchdown dances, he'd be in the same boat as Chad. But instead TO runs his mouth, and cries when things don't go his way. Chad wants the ball in his hands, and he wants to make plays, but what he does only costs himself, not the team. Sure Chad is cocky, but he practices, works extremely hard all week, and prepares. He watches film on everyone who is going to cover him that week. All TO does is run his mouth, say give me the ball, and play. He's definitely not a team player

T.O. talks trash about his own teammates while Chad Johnson talks trash (but does so humorously) about his opposing DB for the upcoming game. Do you remember when he sent an opposing DB bottles of Pepto Bismo because they were going to have upset stomachs from worrying about how to cover him? Hilarious. T.O. is all about self promotion. He is definitely a "me first" kind of guy. T.O. would be happy if he broke every single receiving record for the year even if his team went 4-12 while he did it. Chad Johnson wants to win, even if it means TJ Houzmanzadeh (sp?) and Rudi Johnson are the ones who get them to the Super Bowl.

Because Chad isn't ruining football teams like T.O. is. Chad knows he's good but at the same time he's not insulting his own team for not getting him the ball. The instant he starts doing that, I'll put him in the same boat. Same thing goes for my Panther's very own Steve Smith, if he does any of that crap I might not like him so much anymore...but until then...He's the man.

Chad johnson is a team guy. He has nothing but good things to say about his teammates. He is eccentric, but he is there for his guys and does not seem selfish.

They're both a$$holes but Chad Johnson is smart enough to know where his bread is buttered. He'd be nothing without Carson Palmer.
