The Twins have been on fire of late. Santana continues toward his Cy Young. They have beaten the Tigers recently and own the White Sox. Do the Twins win the Central? Who goes as the Wild Card?

Georgie calm down! A little excited aren't we. The Tigers are having a wee bit of trouble lately. The Twins on the other hand are knocking on the door with the White Sox right behind. If I'm not mistaken the Yankees on the other hand are crusing into the playoffs with most likely the best record in the AL. Not too skanky?

I don't know if they're doomed, but they certainly have to be worried. It looked a couple of weeks ago like they'd cruise to the division title, but reality has finally caught them. They were a good team playing great, and now they've come back down to the level at which they were expected to play.

The Tigers could still win the Central, and I think it comes down to them and the Twins. As for the wildcard, I'd still give the Chisox a chance, but I think it will be the Twins or Tigers, whichever doesn't win the division. If the Twins get anything from the back end of their rotation, they will be a tough team to beat down the stretch.

No, The Tigers are not doomed.

The Tigers are having thier best season since 1993.

Doomed is 119 losses.

I'd like very much for The Twins to make the wild card.
Tthey have a better chance of elimanting those skanky yankees in the first round then Detroit does.

Then The Twins & The Tigers could meet in the ALCS.

Please note that Liriano's ERA against the league is like 1.41 or something like that, but his ERA against The Tigers is almost 8.

Look it up.

Liriano went down in a game against The Tigers, and they beat the crap out of him, remember?
So, bring on Liriano!

Anything's possible...the Tigers aren't out yet but losing 3 of 4 to the Twins didn't help their cause....the Twins will win the Central, the best the Tigers can do is the wildcard...as far as Liriano goes, the Twins have too good of pitching staff...he'll defintely help though if he's back to 100%.....WIN TWINS!!!!!!
