when we marry, we all take vows,In these vows It says till death do we part, when you go before a court you are asked to raise your right hand and swear to tell the truth, you can be jailed for lieing, but then after taking vows, which is to swear to God, a judge will grant divorce, and this after knowing the facts that, this couple has given their vows to God that they would sty together till death. how can a court grant a divorce, and it really be legal, it goes against the VOWS that were made to GOD.

So are you saying, marriage shouldn`t be taken serious? nor should our Vows to God? Nor our promise to our spouses? So If our spouse, and God can not trust us to keep our promises, how can our children expect anything truthful from us?

To RAINBOW, I know some may think it means the death of the love in the marriage, BUT the Bible teaches as long as you have a spouse that lives you are bound to that spouse, but and if they die, you are free to marry.

this is my opinion. As far as divorce in a court. it is legal, but there is one thing to remember? not all married couples know the real meaning behind the vows they take or know God. But I believe God doesn't want us to be unhappy and not be treated right by your spouse , The sad thing is so many people get married without giving it serious thought to what they are agreeing too. I feel what works for some isn't going to work the same for others. I think every marriage is different in the way the two parties see things. As far as what is important and how it is handled. Gods plan is different for each person.it takes being very sincere in your heart. Also hard work. this is what I feel, is just my opinion. I know what I believe and it works for me. Just a thought here, I also think some people see the death till you part. could to some mean. the love is dead and gone so they call it quits. Meaning their love is dead for each other. So head to divorce court.

I agree...to a point.
There are different points of view in different religions.
I am a pregressive primitive baptist and we do believe that divorce is okay, but only if the biblical reasons are there, because if they are not, all the judges in the world would not be able to make that divorce legal.
I have been divorced and feel that if things with my first husband had been very different then I would have stayed married to him until death. We have a beautiful 12yr old daughter together and I hate the fact that he only gets to see her grow up when she is with him.
No matter how you feel and no matter how I feel we do not know what kind of judgement we face when we die. Until then I hope to have made the right choice.
On a different note:
The people who are hating on this woman need to stop. We all hav different views and beliefs and the ignorance of how one believes is what makes WAR. Embrace her difference from you and LEARN from her.

I don't know about all you people, but I would take a vow with God VERY serious. Thats why I am NOT married......
but then again, your posing a question to a bunch of people that generally feel porn and threesomes have a place in marriage too, so I can't expect most of these people would give two $hits about making "Promises" or "vows"....
Just my 2 cents.

Marriage should still be taken very seriously. There are sometimes we need the courts help to break up a bad marriage and get away from each other. My sister in law was beat up by three of her husbands and finally on the 4th try - has found a good man. She had to go thru the divorce system 3 times. On the otherhand, my mom is on her 4th husband and has only been divorced once and that was due to him sexually abusing all of her children. I don't believe in divorce but sometimes it is needed. Be strong.

l first must ask you which religion you belong to? because you do have a goodpoint. the catholic church does not recognises a divorce from the state if you are catholic and got married in the church your marriage will have to be anulled in the eyes of the church if not you are considered married until Death. which is the correct thing. it is written in the bible that the Isrealites because of their "stiff neck" attitude were granted divorce and this is where it stemmed from. marriage vows are serious business.

God has nothing to do with my marriage. Why should I be stuck in an unhealthy situation because I signed some papers. I don't care if you judge me but it amazes me how all you church going FREAKS are the first ones to throw stones. Live your own life our marriage or divorce does not effect you whatsoever. I can marry whomever ,whenever and how many times I want. It's not your concern.
For all the people that gave me a thumbs down What's your reason? Do you live my life Do you tell me who to marry or who I can divorce and how many times. NO. We don't tell you what to do in your life how is it fair for you to judge.
