Disadvantages : Less distraction from studying with boys or with girls. Thereby greater ability to focus on studies. More appealing to Conservative families. A point of view I do not share. In the case of girls lesser possibility of girls being hazed or molested by boys, or becoming involvrd in relationships prematurely Many conservative parents would feel more secure, that nothing "bad will happen to their daughters. Advantages The opposite of the advantages of single sex schools.Greater ability to replicate the real world and expose students to the real word , which is mixed. Also relationships can be formed, possibly for marriage or at the very least as a support network I think single sex schools are anachronistic and hinder the social development of the student

co-ed is always better.
Advantages:
you kno the opposite gender's way of behaviour as a group.like boys r mischeivous while girls luv giggling.
we have to interact with the opp. gender so school can b the best place to learn it.thus co-ed can only be a platform to learn this skill

Really speaking there is no advantage in co-education. in those days , there wer not many girls in inida who were sent to schools . so a separte institution for girls was not viable . so a few girls were admitted to the boy's school. in those days , girls attending boy's scholl did not even talk to boy's much and boy's also did not interact with the girls . With the iuncrease in the number of girls attending schools , separate schools for girls were created in to some extend wherever the local bodies and local Governments and some private Philionthrophic institutions found it convenient . Though during the British rule the opportunity provided an opportunty for modern education , the impact of their culture had a deletrious effect on the culture of the educated masses . It was the so-called learned people who first started neglecting our culture. The culture of any community depends and is solely influenced by the climate and environment of the region where the people live . So also their social habits are influenced by thieer respective environment . The British being used to a climate and environment totally different from ours , used to introduce and favour thier own culture here , simply by virtue of the advantage they had as rulers of the country. It was easy for any nomadic tribe or foreign tribes even to invade inidia as the natives lacked unity and were ready too help any outsider to conquer and subjugate his neighboutr. so it was easy for the Nomadic arabs and Mongolian tribers mmen toinvade inid a and sujugate the people and impose ther culture here.It happend because of the lack of sense of unity and the existence of prejudices on the basis of languages and castes . Een today it is not much imprved in this respect .
Now coming to co-education, definitely there is no special advantage in so far as development of knowledge and culture is concerned . on the contrary , it is seen that most of the boy's spent more of their times in dreaming about girls and running after them like the dags running after the bitches and do not concentrate on their studies . the reis absolutely no need for he boys to know anything about hte girls when they are studying . but girls as is endowed by nature do not run after the boys . may be there may be some exception on account of the corrutive influence of the west . QWe see that it is girls who do best in the studies all over inid a . Because , the girls have better parental countrol and better sense of responsibilities and their minds are so much corrut as those of boys .The boys spent thir midn in thinking of the girl's anatony and run after them in groups that reminds the running of the dogs in the winter season. the animals are better when compared to the humans . they run after the femalse only when it tis time for procreation . But the humans always think about sex only . They do not know anything about sex because they think about it while they are not supposed tothink about it and when they are required to prepare themselves for a healthy life , they loose een the little health tey have . Evenamong the animals you do not see the femalse species running after the males . It is only the malses who run after the females and spend thier entire time in the process forgetting and neglecting what is important in life . such people in life is also prove to be incapapble of having a healthy family life because of the dissipationof health and mind at a time they have to build it up.
Our culture does ot require the girls to get hold of some boy or other even when they have not even completed sixteen years. In western countries , you see single motheres and bastards and fahterless childrenand husbandless mthers . It will be pathetic to see an young girls of 15 or sixteen carrying a baby inher hand seeking some menial job to maintainherself and the baby. Ther are single motheres and same sex partners which you do not see even among animals. thjese are not the the indication of the development of culture but the rot of culture.
another thing is that the need for the sex educatioinis felt only for the humans and the scheme inteh=-nded to save the health iof the people leads to detrioration of the cultue of the people . the animals have bettr sex habits and they dfo not require any teaching in this regard as their practices are really natural and healthy. Their minds are not steeped in sexual thoughts as in the case of the foolish humans . The animals think of sex only when they are inheat , when their body get the harmonal signal for having it for procreation . they forget it the moment thier body is free of the urge. But humans do not know their limits.Education is not simply boy's knowing the anotaomy of girls and girls knowing the anotamy of the boys . It is development of knowledge about the facts of life and every natural phenomena and the principles behind them.
All that is artifiacial in this world is only an application of th eprinciples of nature . We have not created any new principles or laws . We have only found out what nature is doing already and discovered its laws of operation and apply them for our use.
Sex is not to be taught like preparing some meal or cake . it is ome thing to be experinenced and felt naturally in its pristine , healthy and sacred procreative process. It is comes to people just like they =started suckling the breast of their mothere for milk without anybody telling them to suckle .Only then the humans enjoy the prestine healthy union. It is ot to e used like eating junk food on theway siode at all and odd times.
The hindu phuilosophy haveing explored the nature of lif e in this planet has studied theeffect of the cosmic rays and gravitational forces acting on th eplanet earth and all the lives on the planet made of the elements of the planet . if the rays could act on the entire massive planet and keepit in an orbit and cause changes in the climate and environ ment and growth of the plants and anmals , they should b affecting the minds of the living beings also and this would reflect on their character and ehav=iour . It as why the hidu religon considered procreation as a sacred act of creation and prescrig=bed specific times when the planetary influences on the earth are conducoive to the creationof a life fre from defects of mind and body . This was the reason for the existence of well-behaved and highly disciplined and highly intellectual humans in th eancient society in Inid a. That was not the case with the foreign countries .They had people like animals and in mind and behaviour .It as because their climate was not so very conducive for the development of life as in the climate that prevailed in most of the torrid zones.
the separation of boys and girls at theearly stage of their development will certianly be good for the mental and physical development of th esociety and th improvement of thier potential and brain power which are likey and very much likel;y to be dissipated when their energies are very much needed for thier development . Co-education is disavantageous .for both the boys and the girls . It destroys the culture of the human socity.
