It sounds like you have a belt that has broken or fallen off. Most likely this is due to the failure of a power steering pump, but it could also be a tensioner! The 88 Century used a serpentine belt to run the power steering, AC, Alternator and water pump. Do not drive the car far, because it will overheat the engine. With the water pump not working, you can cause serious engine damage in a short time.

Have the vehicle towed to a qualified mechanic for repair!!

It sounds like the belt broke or the pulley broke that allows the belt to drive the accessories on your motor such as power steering, air cond., water pump, etc. If the pulley is broken, then it needs to be replaced. Your car probably stalls because it either isn't getting good fuel flow or maybe it needs a tune-up.

It could be your powers steering pump. You should have it checked by a mechanic. I had that problem a while back. The only difference was that my fluid was leaking also. Turned out to be my rack and pinion steering$$$$. Not fun. But if it is just your pump, it should not cost near as much.

From what you described your power steering pulley has broke off you are going to have to replace it.If you fluid looks like mud your power steering fluid lines are probably corroded and need to be replaced as well.

Wow...sounds like you need to get it in the shop and tune it up.

Sounds like you're power steering has broken, your fuel line may be clogged or your air filter. Among other things.

Take her in or roll her off a cliff.

Power steering pump is just about shot. Replace it before it's gone & you have an accident.

Get your car checked out by a mechanic. Sounds like your belts broke.

You either need to have it towed to a mechanic or have someone to at least come see about it. You did not identify enough of the problem to make an assessment but you don't need to drive it anywhere.

First, you probably broke your belt to the power steering pump. The rest, I don't know, as you do not give enough information.

First check the tension on your serpertine belt; you should be able to press it down about 0.5 to 1 inch. If it is looser than that the belt tensioner is probably shot. It is NOT safe to drive.
