If a woman is raped in Pakistan, she has to have 4 adult male Islamic witnesses to prove it. If she doesn't, she will be held for up to 2 years without bond or trial, for adultery. Why doesn't the UN, or the US for that matter, get involved with these blatant human rights violations? When does freedom of religion get in the way of human rights, and when do you step in?

yeah, women don't get raped in Pakistan...because they CAN"T PROVE IT! I will compare US rape statistics to pakistan's ADULTERY statistics, and then we will see where we are at...gimme a break...

just to clarify, pakistani law regarding rape is in debate right now. Rape is NOT sex. Requiring fair laws in prosecuting what they ADMIT is a violation of THEIR law would be a start...you don't have to change the people, they AREN"T that different...most do NOT rape. But justice needs to be served on those that violate the law. THEIR law
